I am now in a grieving state. My poor hamster passed away yesterday, not really yesterday, it could be on the 17th, I don't know. When I found her dead, her whole body was already infested with ants. The day before, I had noticed her was injured, but I couldn't bring her to the vet because my parents would not let me do that. Thinking that it was normal(ants crawling to the cages), I didn't not care about the hamster. But when I took a closer look at it again, oh my gosh, so many ants piling onto the corpse. I was totally shocked!
I think I should be blamed on this matter. I am to be blamed for not taking good care of her. I 'tortured' her. I didn't give her enough food to eat. And I know she didn't die in peace. As I'm typing this, tears are rolling down my cheeks.
Sorry to say, I could not provide a nice coffin for you(hamster), a proper ritual.

She only lived for about a year and a half as you could see.
I have decided never to keep any more pets - see them being starved, and in a poor state; and it's very hard to see them leave the world.
