I went to watch the fireworks at Marina Square with my family. We reached the shopping centre at about 8p.m and there were already many people. In the MRT, it was very squeezy and almost all people alighted at City Hall. Then there were 2 or 3 caucasians joking around..when they came in they said aloud "mind the gap" and they were acting as though they were drunk.. then my mum whispered to me "mind your heads". ha... :PFirst, we went to have our lunch at the food court.. there were so long queues at the McDonald's and other shops which usually is very empty..there were many people there.. We had to wait and look around for empty seats, which took about 15 minutes? I just had something, so I just ate a bit of the baked rice(it wasn't that nice though..) and a char siew bao.. nice. yum! At about 5 minutes before nine, we went outside into the open space, where those people who want to smoke can smoke there.., waited for the fireworks... dunno whether they are late or is my mum's watch fast, they fireworks only started at 9.05p.m. :( The fireworks was so wonderful!! There were new and special designs.. like glitter falling from sky and shooting stars, etc. I prefer the gold colour ones as I find it more appealing..?? all in all, I really like this fireworks!! :))Well, I'm going to get another chance to watch it next Tuesday, at my mum's office.. yay!! And there are tidbits provided?? hope it's true.. :DAND, I love Marina Square! It's so cool, the wonderful shops there, and there's the bowling area, snooker, cinema..I'm like a suaku like that.. first time see those things.. hehe..
