Today's the start of the end of year holidays..I met up with 2 friends..Went to the Art Biennale...Around City Hall..From 1pm to 6pm..We met at AMK MRT station at 12nn, but Jing Qiu and I were a little late, so we started later than planned..We took the mrt to City Hall.First, we went to the National Library..it was my first time there, and I thought it would be beautifully decorated, but it turned out to be quite plain..There were two exhibits there, we took some time viewing them and collected two badges..Then we went to some churches, chinese and indian temples to view the art exhibition..and collected a few badges as well.At the Sri Krishnan temple, we were to take off our shoes and take the lift to the third floor..the art work was so wonderful..the 'stairway to heaven' was totally beautiful! splendid!When we went to SMU, we couldn't find the art work. We asked the guard but we still did not know where that was..until we took the free shuttle bus did we see the large room with the word 'singapore art biennale' painted on it..We went the City Hall, the supreme court..that was where we had lots of fun!!We bought a ticket which cost $5..
(Here's a picture of the ticket..a souvenier..)There were a few rooms which looked and felt eerie so we didn't dare to go in..(especially Jing Qiu).. then there was this room where it was empty but you can hear many people laughing loudly..Getting goosebumps ehh??We took about 50 minutes viewing the whole of City Hall..then we took a shuttle bus the Orchard RoadBee Yee wanted to visit Tanglin Camp again, but we would have to stay until very late, and we weren't allowed to..so we decided to go there next Friday..pss..it's free on Friday evenings(from 6pm to 9pm), but the biennale will end on the 12th of November..about 15 more days??There were so many people at Orchard Road doing late night shopping(I guess so?)We should have come here earlier..didn't realise that it closes at 6pm..so we missed 3 exhibits..and 3 badges.. hehe :DAfter that, we went home..it was about 7.30pm when I reached home..Bee Yee went to AMK centre to have her dinner..then she and Jing Qiu talked while walking there.. I couldn't and wouldn't wait for them so I walked off first..anyway..it's as though I'm not present anyway..
