I accompanied my mum to a buffet at Peninsula tower with her ex-colleagues..It was international buffet..I didn't like some of the food there, but the rest was ok..I like the desserts - jelly pudding, ice cream, small cakes, deep fried stuff..I didn't like its raw salmon because it's got a stink in it..I think it's smoked salmon..but it's too salty..We started eating at 1.30pm (that's when the buffet starts)..and chatted while eating till 4.00pm (when the buffet ends).I was feeling quite full then..(Something disgusting happened..and I don't think I would want to go there for lunch anymore.. I saw a cockroach running about the 'Char Siew bao' area..at first I didn't know what that insect was, then I told my mum to see what it was then she told me it was a baby cockraoch..YUCKS!!After that, we went shopping at Suntec City..wanted to collect the scented candle from Crabtree & Evelyn..but it was out of stock, so we went to Carrefour..Bought quite a lot of stuff..chicken, ham, a tent, plates..etc.We took MRT home, so we had to carry all the things back home..tough work..*huff*.
