I'm feeling happy now!! Wee..
I had a mini gathering with 6a classmates..
We met at City Hall MRT station at 9.30a.m. before walking to Marina Square shopping centre.
At 8.55am, Tan Cheng and I met at Ang Mo Kio first before taking the train to City Hall..Then she told me that Weng Jun's meeting us too but she's in the next train. So we got down at Newton, counted 7 doors from the back and sat down to wait for the next train to arrive. After 5 minutes of waiting, the train finally arrived. I think we counted wrongly because we couldn't see Weng Jun at first, then when we turned to look at the other door, we saw a girl in a pink shirt who looked like her. We didn't know if it was her so Tan Cheng smsed her and yes! it was her..
We sort of sneaked behind her and tried to scare her but she seemed to be expressionless.. :
When we got to City Hall, I realized we were the first to arrive! Gosh! Next came ShuBing and Regina..then Brenda,and after about 15 minutes came Huei Ting. And after a very very long while, Larissa, Min Gee and Josephine finally arrived.. I thought there would be more people but it turned out to be only 10 of us..
When everybody arrived, we walked to the shopping centre..Most of the shops are not yet opened in the City Link and in most shopping centres I guess..it's too early for them to start work.. :)
At the exit to Marina Square, there was this signboard showing the escalator was not working and it sounded quite funny. It's something like that: Escalator's not working so as to save energy! Wow! I didn't know people can save much energy but not using the escalator..lols!
I've been to the bowling place once, so I sort of know where it was..but anyway, Larissa's taking us there and we followed them. It's kind of empty there..only a few kids who are learning bowling..
We had to pay $3 for the game and $1 for the shoes, so it's $4 a person..and those who are not wearing socks have to buy their socks at $1.50 per pair..
We didn't know how to play so we tried playing.. Wow! Amazing! I've got a strike in my first round! But after that, the bowling ball kept rolling into the 'drain' or canal or whatever it is called.. Bleh! And I've got a total score of 55! Weng Jun and Huei Ting are so pro! They've got over 90 points! Pro right? I don't know how long we stayed at the bowling centre but it seemed quite short. When the game ended, Shu Bing and Regina went off with Shu Bing's sister..
After that, we went to have our lunch.. I can't believe we're having lunch at Pizza Hut?! I'm too poor to eat that you know..and well, we still had that for lunch.. OMG! I could have saved a few more dollars to buy other stuff if we ate something cheaper yet fulling..duh! At Pizza Hut, we ordered the family set I think? We had BBQ chicken with stuffed crust and Hawaiian pan pizza, 8 mushroom soups and 7 coke..and we spent a total of about $70 there! OMG! It's the most expensive lunch I've ever had with my friends! I think I shalln't think about it anymore..what's over is over..so don't regret..
Then we went our separate ways..Larissa and Min Gee were going to Larissa's house, then Brenda had some other meeting..so that leaves 6 of us.. We went to the arcade! Wee! :))
I didn't play, just watched the rest play..it's quite fun, but not many types of games to play..
Then we saw Brenda and Josphine play a game that looked fun..Tan Cheng and Weng Jun decided to play the game after Brenda ended.. The game was really funny.. too funny and exciting to be explained in words..you really must try the game with your friend! While they were playing, a man came up to us to ask for donations. It seemed like a nightmare to me though! I told that guy that I've no money to give and he was like "Just $4, please..", then I said I really got not enough money! Then he bit his lips, blinked his eyes quickly, looked as though he's flirting! OMG! My hair really 'jumped' up! He really looked like a gay or some sissy guy..I'm feeling cold right now..yuck! It's so disgusting..a man trying to act like a woman?! It really makes people vomit!!
Then later on, we went window shopping! We went into quite a few shops..MiniToons, BearyHip, a clothes store, PUMA, and a few others which I can't think of now..
The things sold are too expensive for me..I've no money to buy them..Oh well, I will only have enough money for my ownselve when I start working..maybe..
Josephine and Petrina left halfway through and the four of us are left now..
We walked and walked and talked and talked until 4pm when I had to leave for tuition..
We went to Suntec City as well..I don't know why we went to Carrefour..we were just following our legs for our legs will take us to wherever they want..
I guess we've walked more than a kilometre for my legs had started aching..haha =P
I'm late for class! Argh! I have tried to hurry up but well, there are so many fanciful things to look at and so we took up quite some time again..so by the time I reached the tuition centre, I was 20 minutes late! Duh!
After tuition, I went to J8's MiniToons to buy some Christmas presents for someone..wah! It's so crowded inside, so I just bought one thing and quickly left for home...
