It's HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR today!!!
Yay!!
Can get lots of ang baos. Can gamble. Can visit other people. So fun! :))
It's the first day of the chinese new year, so I haven't gone to other people's house for celebration..but I know that I'm going to my grandma and aunt's house today!! Yay!! =D
Ok..last week, quite a few things happened - valentine's day, total defence day and chinese new year celebration.
I didn't buy any valentine's present for anyone.. ;[
but I got quite a few presents..
Haiz.. I'm receiving love, but I'm not giving love..and this is selfish i guess.. but anyway it's over..
Then on the 15th, its total defence day! Those in uniform groups have to wear full uniform for the whole day! damn! but anyway, i guess my uniform's the most comfortable among other CCAs.. =P
While having maths lesson, the alarm suddenly went off! Many people were happy that it rang during maths lesson..
So everyone walked quickly to the parade square.. I guess my class was walking quite slowly coz my class is on the first level and it's quite easy to reach there without having to walk down the stairs. The sun was shining so brightly and we were to stay there until all the students have come down.. some people were missing so the teachers had to search for them and this caused us to stay under the sun for a longer period of time..
It's was boring waiting, so Cheryl, Jun An, Cleon, Aneesh and I played 'heart attack'. It was quite fun though.. geez =D
When we finally got back to class, maths lesson is already over..and it's english lesson! But the sad thing is, mrs lee could not come for class as she had some meeting.. so we played..made lots of noise in class..but luckily nobody came to make us shutup..
Then on the 16th, it's chinese new year celebration! We were encouraged to wear ethnic costumes to school.. so almost the whole class wore, haiz..yiqin and junan didn't wear..damn! But anyway, our class won third for the costume wearing.. yay!!!
We had 2 lessons first before watching the concert which starts at 10.30, and these two lessons are geography and biology..
Geog. was ok..started on a new topic - weather and climate
the bio teacher didn't come today and it was good news! I'm starting to dislike her man..
the concert was nice..the performance by indonesian scholars was funny..coz the tall tall guy standing next to dorothea looked so extra there..haha :)) the rest of the performers were about 1 head shorter than him..omg! he's 190+cm!! woah! so tall!
didn't have guides meeting today..so happy! so went home after concert ended..then went library return books..
while packing our stuff, beeyee found lots of ants in her bag..eeek!! her 'uneaten' bread was infested with ants!! our class has lots of ants...and they came from outside!! eew!
