Today's the 21th April and it sure is a busy day for me.
There's the rock climbing course in the morning, tuition in the afternoon and Raffles 01 Scouts campfire in the night.
So, in the morning, we met at 8 a.m at AMK MRT station. We had to wait for like 10-15 minutes all of us arrived. Ying Chyi was the latest! Well, not actually coz Pei Xuan did not know how to go there from Sengkang, then in the end, we met up with her at Dhoby Ghaut MRT station. And of course we wasted time again..
I didn't know that Farrer Park station was just 2 stations away from Dhoby Ghaut, so we reached there quite on time. OMG! The instructions are so misleading! What yellow shophouses?! Luckily YingChyi knows how to read that map given if not we'll be lost..
While walking, we saw a few guides sitting outside a double-storey house(those peranakan houses), and we were still wondering why they are sitting there until we saw the banner on the second floor saying 'Climb Asia'. That's so like wth! That's not even a shophouse lar..and it's slightly orange, not yellow! Then YC was like scolding ong lor..
I thought rockclimbing is fun, but who knows.. It's a tough thing such a big-sized and heavy girl like me..and I just gave up after trying bouldering twice!
After the bouldering part, when we were supposed to do rockclimbing, that guy told us a bad news. The guides HQ did not book that timeslot for us! Then in the end, we had to go home. That is so WTH!! Waste our time to come here and in the end we had to go home without learning anything?!
It was about 1pm when I reached AMK. Then I went centre for lunch with my mum and bro. Bro's class was held back for like 30 minutes after lesson. So while waiting, I quickly finished my tuition compo. And I feel so glad that I managed to complete an essay while standing!
So while writing my essay, I saw BY. She went to collect her specs..haha..she's finally wearing specs! Her specs is heavy..the frames or whatever you call it is made of metal! And of course it's heavy..lol.
The weather is so damn hot! I was sweating like hell while having lunch. And mum just wouldn't buy cold drinks! Then when we returned home I immediately poured myself a cup of iced orange juice. A while later, it began to rain! The weather pattern is like..chaotic nowadays..it's so hot for one moment and cool the next. Oh anywhere, I had finished my tuition homework!
....4 hours later...
After tuition, I quickly changed into full guides u, then walked quickly to Bishan station. There were many guides and scouts unit there already..woah! YC helped me buy fried mifen..gee thanks! :) I guess I'm too excited to eat, so I ate only less than half of that packet.
I thought it was a campfire until Naf told us that it was a SHOW! So everyone proceeded to the hall, which is quite small but very nice. They invited more than 20 schools I guess. The most infuriating thing was that they didn't include our name in the slides!! ARGH! 'Airfield' them lar..
The theme for their show is 'Fantasma' which I don't know what it means...
The whole thing was quite interesting.. ((: Dicky is so cute!! Haha..the spastic ghost.. LOL =P
It was like movie, live performance, movie, live, movie, live...then there are a few performances by other schools - scouts singing..
They are qutie racist too..they play mostly chinese songs, and 1 song by Rain..then a few cute english songs like Ghostbuster..haha..
I guess I was quite 'high' throughout.. 'higher' than YC and JQ probably.. LOL =P JQ wasn't feeling well coz the hall was too cold..
By anyway, after the show, YC and I went home immediately while the others went Macs. I just remembered something! Nazira was with us! Then she's quite funny also..
...back home..I met this uncle in the lift. He said, "You from Girl Guides arh?"
"Yeah."
.......
"You should speak less of chinese. You pass your English?"
Ok. That's so WTH! Shouldn't we be speaking more of chinese when it's like 'hua yu COOL!'. Anyway, I dislike that uncle coz he's always smoking in the lift! Then when the lift reached the 11th floor, I quickly walked home (I'm trying to disappear from his sight!).
Parents are home..so no need to worry! :)
It's been a tiring day for me..but I'm still not in bed yet. Mum was watching this show about female assassins and it caught my attention..so I watched the show too..and I still haven't changed out of guide uni..haha..
