It just seems that Singaporeans can't reduce the usage of plastic bags even though there's the BYOB day (which I think is ineffective).Does it have to do with BreadTalk??It seems that after BreadTalk opened it's first store, other bakeries and shops began packing one bread into one bag! That's so unnecessary - I mean we're still gonna eat the bread, and who cares if it still looks nice or not. Well even if you care about the look, the digested food still looks yucky at the end..The bakeries and confectionary shops can save cost too. They help to reduce the need to dig for fossil fuels which are quickly depleting (and I really wonder if they can last for the next 50 years). And the big supermarkets too. Can't they just implement that thing everyday instead. People can choose to not to shop on that day right?? And some people still forget to bring their own bags on that day after 1 year, and worse still, some choose not to bring and don't want to put the coins in the box (hello, it's just a few cents and who ask you not to bring your bag! miser). That's such a failure. But does using paper bags instead solve the problem? Cutting down more trees or recycling more paper..hmm..and Guo Yue 看起来很帅!! :P
